European Festival 2026

What an incredible day! The European Festival 2026 brought together cultures, flavours, music, and community spirit in a celebration we’ll remember for years to come.

A Big Thank You!

  • To all the performers & cultural groups: your music, dance, art, and spirit brought the festival to life.

  • To the stallholders & food vendors: the flavours and crafts were wonderful and greatly appreciated.

  • To our volunteers, sponsors, and partners:  without your time, energy and support this event wouldn’t have been possible.

  • And most importantly, to the community: for coming together, celebrating diversity, enjoying the day, and making the festival such a warm, fun gathering.

About our clubs

Australian Croatian Club Turner

The Australian Croatian Club was founded in 1969 as a social club for the local Croatian community. Since then, the Croatian community has grown alongside our diverse Australian community and management of the club has transitioned to the next generation welcoming new members and visitors through our doors. Our bistro and beer garden are open Friday nights or for private functions throughout the week.

Our club is an environment where everyone is welcome, while keeping the Croatian culture alive for future generations. We are the proud home of the O’Connor Knights Soccer Club and the ACT Croatian School.

Polish White Eagle Club

The Polish White Eagle Club has served the local community (Polish and non-Polish) with delicious food & beverage, live music, theatre & dance for
more than half a century.

This year, the Polish Club is celebrating the 50th year since the current building was opened by Cardinal Wojtyla (Pope John Paul II) in 1973. We are 100% pokie-free and proud to be the first club in Canberra to remove gambling voluntarily from our premises in 2007.

We’re part of a vibrant and growing network of community and recreational groups in the ACT across many demographics and nationalities, while continuing to support the Polish community in the Capital Region.
