Come celebrate Croatian Victory & Homeland Thanksgiving

Victory and Homeland Thanksgiving Day and the Day of Croatian Defenders (Croatian: Dan pobjede i domovinske zahvalnosti i Dan hrvatskih branitelja) is a public holiday in Croatia that is celebrated annually on 5 August, commemorating the Croatian War of Independence.

Come join the Croatian community with family and friends at The Australian Croatian club in O’Connor on Friday 5th of August to celebrate the Croatian victory and homeland thanksgiving in a day of festivities which include a Buće competition, Lamb and Pig on the spit (bookings are essential), plus more.

The event starts at 3 pm with the Buće competition and then the food is served at 5.30 pm. Please remember to make a booking for the food.
