The Knights were founded in 1997 by the Croatian Community in the northern Canberra suburb of O’Connor, A.C.T Australia. Croatians are a highly respected football nation and numerous Australians of Croatian ancestry have represented Australia.

This club is open to all Australians, and we are a not-for-profit community organisation run by volunteers. The Knights vision is to encourage, promote and develop the game of football as a sport and community the A.C.T. The Knights field teams in the A.C.T National Premier League (NPL2) and State League.

2022 will see the club being promoted and also entering the NPL2 Youth Competition as well as Mini Roos and Juniors. The focus is to provide local talent with a pathway from its Juniors base to Youth and Senior Teams in the highest possible standard with the qualified coaches and staff of the club.

The club is comprised of 21 teams across the following:

• Seniors – O’Connor Knights field Men’s NPL2 and NPL2/U23 teams.
• Women – Our Women’s DIV2 team are the reigning champions.
• Youth – The club fields NPL2 Youth teams from U13 thru U18’s.
• Juniors – We have a full complement of Juniors squads starting from 5 Years old.
